Breakthrough in SSD Technology

November 2011, OCZ Technology announced the launch of a pair of new SSDs having the highest capacity in a 2.5-inch form factor. The new drives are in the Octane family and include the Octane 6Gbps and the Octane-S2 using a 3Gbps interface. OCZ claims it is the first SSD maker to hit 1TB in a 2.5-inch form factor drive.
