Gaea, Mother Earth supercomputer is being upgraded to a 1,100 trillion calculations per second beast. The climate research supercomputer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory simulates complex climate conditions and performs intensive research. Gaea is a high-performance supercomputer which produces massive heat however, the technology behind its cooling mechanism compensates well for this.

Delhi government order to safeguard rights of disadvantaged groups

With six more days still remaining to submit forms, this decision by the Delhi Government has certainly come as a big relief to the parents of EWS and disadvantaged groups in Delhi, who wanted their children to receive quality education with proper facilities that are being provided by the private schools in Delhi. Parents will now be able to submit admission forms in the office of their concerned District Deputy Director of Education till 1 p.m. on all working days up to 16th Jan 2012.
